The preschool children were showing immense interest in letter writing; they set up an office and post office and were busy practicing their writing skills. Through various discussions and ideas they wanted to write a letter to the President of Ireland – President Micheal D. Higgins. A lot of thought went into their letter; with much anticipation for his reply! When the Golden Harp envelop came through An Post the excitement was palpable…. from both children and staff!
