About us
Aistear is the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) curriculum framework for all children under the age of six. Aistear’s Early Childhood Curriculum Framework has been developed in partnership with practitioners, children, parents, people in education and training, researchers, and policy makers from the early childhood sector in order to provide the sector with guidelines and suggestions. At Ratoath Childcare, our planning is underpinned by Aistear’s best practice.
Our childcare staff are our most important asset. 100% of our childcare staff are qualified, with many of our senior staff carrying a FETAC Level 8 childcare qualification. Our staff are also Garda vetted and First Aid and Fire Safety trained. We keep our team happy, as we believe this helps us provide the very best childcare. It guarantees that our team stay with us offering the consistency and continuity of care that’s so important to children.
Our cooks provide delicious and nutritious freshly cooked meals that encourage your child to taste as many new things as possible, introducing them to the wonderful world of food. Our menu has been carefully selected and our kitchen uses fresh meat and seasonable vegetables. We don’t add any salt, artificial flavourings or colouring and a lot of our food is home made.
